Butyl acrylate is a colorless liquid with a sharp odor. It is readily miscible with most organic solvents. Butyl acrylate contains one of the following three inhibitors to prevent polymerization under recommended storage conditions:

Application:

Butyl acrylate is an active variety in general acrylate. It is a soft monomer with strong reactivity. It can be cross-linked, copolymerized and connected with a variety of hard monomers (hydroxyalkyl, glycidyl and methylamide) to form a variety of polymers such as lotion and water-soluble copolymerization. It can also prepare plastic and cross-linked polymers to obtain many products with different characteristics in viscosity, hardness, durability and glass transition temperature. Butyl acrylate is an important intermediate with high application consumption.
